Dossier En Route...YAY!!

Yesterday I made an 11 hr trip to Austin to get ALL of our documents apostilled. They were so nice and I was only there about 40 minutes. Then I found the closest Fed-Ex, sealed them in an envelope and handed them off to the Fed-ex dude. He handed me my receipt & said Thank You, but my package was sitting there with all the labels, etc. just laying on top of it. He said, "is there something else I can do for you?"... I said, "I was just wating for everything to be attached to the package so I know it's ready." I think he thought I was crazy! It was a beautiful drive, and I listened to music and had little chats with God all day. Today I feel excited & relieved that the documents are on their way. I will keep you updated, and please continue to pray that the documents are perfect & that everything will be processed quickly so that we can get our court day...We are ALMOST there little man.

A huge Thank you to Lisa Steward and The Catwalk, Lavonta Harper for all her organizing help, Neely for amazing hair, Lacey for Makeup & Sydnie, Baylie & Landri for handing out flyers & inviting so many sweet girls. I think everyone had a great time!!! And ALL of you looked so Amazing....

Our Dossier is Officially complete!!!! Yay! Whew! I Need A Nap! My smiling face will be at the USCIS office first thing MONDAY morning to get a pile of documents apostilled! Followed by a stop at Fed-ex where they will spend several days traveling across the world to Charlie's country. SWEET!! Thank you to every person that has prayed us through the paperwork. Now, we need specific prayer that every document is PERFECT and that every PENNY that is needed to bring our son home will be raised. Please join us as we fundraise over the next 4-5 weeks.

The USCIS ROCKS!!!!!

So yesterday we get a document in the mail that was just plain, nothing fancy with the blanks filled in with our names. I read it twice & then Sid read it & we were like cool, "It looks like we got approval to adopt, & now we just have to WAIT for that I-171H" Well, we were WRONG!! It was our I-170H!!!!! Which states, "It has been determined that you are able to furnish proper care to an orphan." YAY! Only 12 days after our federal fingerprints we have our Golden document from the USCIS (my new favorite people) :) So tomorrow I finish up all the last few things, get a few more documents notarized AGAIN, and then Wednesday I will be off to Austin to get everything apostilled and then fed-ex it ALL to Charlie's country. I totally can not believe it! We could be holding our little man in a matter of weeks!! Wahoo! SO, next on the agenda we still have $12,000 to raise!! Please pray that the last of the needed money will come...We are on a mission...

WAITING...

So Apparently in the state of Texas, you generally recieve your I-171H about 30 days after you get your federal fingerprints done. So because this is the last document that we need to send our dossier to Charlie's country, we WAIT...That means we should have it in our hands before June 4th. Then I will be off to Austin to get it appostilled and fed-ex everything to our facilitator. So, for now we just WAIT...I'm guessing that this is that part that gets hard. Knowing that everything is done & that Charlie is just waiting for his Mommy & Daddy to come get him. Hopefully the time will fly by & we will have a court date before we know it!!! Please continue to pray for every peice of paperwork to be perfect, for nothing to have to be redone, and for Charlie to be safe & healthy until we can hold him in our arms.

Just a Reminder......We leave tomorow at 5:30am for our 8:00am Fingerprint Appointment!!! Please pray that everything goes smoothly. This is one of the last things to do before sending our dossier to Charlie's country. Woo Hoo!!!!!
