In the corner of the boys room sits a little empty bed, waiting for a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, a grandson to lay his sweet head. It's now known as "Charlie's Bed." A reminder everytime I walk into that room to PRAY for our son that sleeps in the same little bed on the other side of the world, not knowing that he has a Mommy & Daddy that already love him. I am so thankful that there are a couple of other families that are going to the same orphanage before us to bring their children home. I can't wait for them to whisper in his little ear and tell him, " Your Mommy & Daddy are coming soon."
Jonathan & Tate are so excited to share their room with such a special boy!!!
What a great bed for such a cute kid! This just makes me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteWendy...The room looks sooo cute. And, the bed looks so similar to the one he is sleeping in at the orphanage. We did the same thing for Bella by finding a similar bed after seeing hers in the orphanage. It has worked beautifully! All the little children sleep on their backs with their hands behind their heads. I guess it works for crowd control? :)
ReplyDeleteHe will love it! Love, Paula
first off I LOVE the little bed!! SO CUTE!! also how do you keep their room so neat? My sons room is a disaster ALL THE TIME. I made the mistake of cleaning it FIRST before homestudy and by the time it was hs time a week later I had to clean it again! oh how I long to have a clean organised house, but I am a packrat my children have way too many toys and I dont have a lot of storage space.
