Our Journey To Charlie & Levi...

After 17yrs of marriage and "8" amazing children, God has continued to keep the fire for adoption burning in our hearts. Crazy?... Maybe?!?! But....Doesn't God call all of us to do CRAZY things for him? Isn't that what it means to Live for Christ? To make a difference ONE orphan at a time. So after months of praying that this little guy would find a forever family, he FINALLY has!! OUR FAMILY!! Join us as we pray, cry, fill out mounds of paperwork & fundraise to bring our son home. We give God all the glory for choosing to adopt us & for giving us the opportunity to Choose Charlie...And because we could not get Zhora(Levi) off our minds and God obviously placed him in our hearts... We're bringing him home too!!

UPDATE...Prayers Needed BIG Time!!!!!!

So, I realize I have not posted in a few days. It has been interesting here to say the least! Our facilitator's are trying desperately to get the boys passports tomorrow afternoon(Thurs). Which means if that happens we will pick up boys on Friday morning, go straight to medicals & then to get visa's. This will allow us to fly out on Saturday!!!!! The problem with this is that getting the passports tomorrow is not looking to promising:( This is where I insert ALL OF YOU!!!!! We need every person to be praying their hearts out like crazy that the passports will be ready TOMORROW afternoon & that the person that has to sign & stamp them is there and will sign immediately. If that happens then everything else will follow & we will be outta here Saturday!! If we do not get the passports TOMORROW then we have a problem. The U.S. Embassy is closed on Monday for Columbus day, which means we could not pick up visa's until Tuesday, and we would not be able to fly out until Wednesday!!! Total Bummer:( We are believing that God can make this happen and ask that you would join us in praying specifically for the boys passports arrival tomorrow afternoon.

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. ~Philippians 4:13

  1. Praying! I bet you are so ready to get home.

I arrived in Kiev this morning and just now have internet. Where is your apartment? We're no where near TGIFs and it's too cold to walk far.
