Our Journey To Charlie & Levi...

After 17yrs of marriage and "8" amazing children, God has continued to keep the fire for adoption burning in our hearts. Crazy?... Maybe?!?! But....Doesn't God call all of us to do CRAZY things for him? Isn't that what it means to Live for Christ? To make a difference ONE orphan at a time. So after months of praying that this little guy would find a forever family, he FINALLY has!! OUR FAMILY!! Join us as we pray, cry, fill out mounds of paperwork & fundraise to bring our son home. We give God all the glory for choosing to adopt us & for giving us the opportunity to Choose Charlie...And because we could not get Zhora(Levi) off our minds and God obviously placed him in our hearts... We're bringing him home too!!

Blessed Already...Day 1

After arriving here, exchanging money, going to the market & settling into our flat. We were quite exhausted!! Thrilled to get our computer up & going & blessed beyond words at the people that have helped us so far:) We slept about 14hrs!!!! Then got up ready to go explore this morning. We met some sweet friends here that showed us around & had lunch with them. If your wondering...it was Yummy! Then we visited a children's hospital, where we sang songs, played BINGO, and played hide-n-seek with those that could go outside. The children were so sweet, and we loved every minute of it!! Tonight, we are in prayer for our SDA appt. tomorrow. Please continue to pray for all those involved & that everything will go smoothly. We hope to get the paper that says we can go see the boys asap..It is super hard to know that they are only minutes away from you. Missing my kiddos at home already(You guys are gonna love all these pictures) and feeling blessed beyond words that God has placed us right here right now. I will try to post often:) Hopefully the next pictures will be of the boys.....

Leaving Washington D.C. "Bye-bye America!!"
